First time I have paid for treatment, so don't know about value for money but certainly had excellent care from Mr Richard Parkinson my surgeon and all nursing staff during my stay.

No one told me how painful it would be, or maybe that is just my pain threshold, but almost 9 weeks later my improvement is excellent, lots of credit to Gary Powell and Trudy Mercer my two physiotherapists. Thank you.

Hospital badly nrequires investment. Insufficient money to heat adequately, so rooms extremely cold in winter. Roof leaks in heavy rain - corridors filled with buckets and towels to collect drips and some bedrooms unusable. Insufficient money to staff adequately - day or night. Lack of staff impacts on all services.

My wife and I have used this hospital for over 20 years and always found the treatment,staff and enviroment second to none. Sadly due to the credit crunch we will no longer be using Spire Murrayfield but I am sure those who do will enjoy the total professionalism conducted there.
